I have a passion for charity and volunteer work. Giving back to the community is extremely important to me. I participate in many local walkathons for a variety of causes. I also volunteer at several different local charities, most recently FISH of Vancouver . I am a member of the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce . I am also the Vice Chairperson of the Oregon Chapter of Operation Homefront’s Board of Directors and am very active with this organization. With every VA home loan we close, Carole and I donate $100 to Operation Homefront on behalf of the borrower.
I have three wonderful adult children, who have provided me with four beautiful grandchildren, with twins coming this summer! I have a variety of interests that I like to squeeze in when I get an opportunity. They range from digital photography to local and global travel, reading, writing and exploring nearby communities and different walking trails. If I’m not following the Trailblazers, Mariners and/or Seahawks, you can find me walking along the Columbia River with my camera in hand, looking for an opportunity to capture something unique or special to me.
